Beater - 03/28/1999

Well its been awhile since I have updated this page. Its not because the driving has been good, I just haven't had the time. I saw a funny bumper sticker the other day. It said: "Drive Carefully, School's In". Now I know reading that, there is nothing funny about that, except it was on this car that was beat to hell. Maybe they should live by their stickers. I made it through all the snow storms this year, boy wasn't that fun. I have never seen so much snow from a driving standpoint and it seemed that every-time I had to work weekends, it would snow more. The last couple of weeks have been good for driving though. I get to work and back in a half hour or so. I still get the occasional slow poke, but I can usually go around them on the right and get back in my lane. I have seen an unusual number of accidents that don't make any sense though. Cars that seem to be going along at posted speeds and the next thing you know, we are backed up for hours on the freeway.
