Ford Motor Company Home Page - Have you bought a new car lately? Well its time to get out there and get me some profit sharing this year. I'm in New Employee Orientation this week and it has been interesting. I never relealized how far streching IT is in Ford. Its also been very weird for me to be away from the computer so much this week. I find that during breaks, I'm running to find a computer. Its just the addicted geek in me. Mostly just working on e-mail for work, which thankfully hasn't been as bad as it could be. I have a great bunch of guys that I work with and that work for me and I knew that they didn't really need me around to get the job done. I'm thankful that they want me around. The layoff thing has been weighing on my mind heavy. I don't know what I woudl do. We are having a hard enough time getting by now. Enough poor me for now.
The boys are all doing good, I think we are coming out of the colds, which is great, we are getting back to sleep again, but of course I'm up working on the computer now. Nick is teething and I wish he would just cut that first one. I think he would be much happier if he did. Garrett had an accident yesterday, he and Sean were playing and he didn't like something that Sean did so he bit him. We sent him to our room for a timeout (we do actually do it, we don't always beat them). In his fit of rage, he slammed the closet door, which is a bi-fold door and forgot to take his hand out of it. His index and middle fingers on his right hand look pretty bad, I think he lost most of the skin. Needless to say we felt horrible and allowed him to come out from his timeout early. Its funny I wasn't always so quisey when it came to things like that, but now I get ghostly white whenever anything happens to any of my kids or myself. I remember when I was 7 that I cut my leg open on a water pipe that was sticking out of the ground and I continued to play for a while before my pants were drenched with blood. It didn't bother me, I just ran home 9 house and my mom to me to the hospital for 14 stiches. I think I was back to playing as soon as I got home, which I remember getting yelled at for. If that happened to me know, I would be the biggest baby and sit on the couch.
Its funny to see Sandy working on the computer, if you have noticed you don't see her sitting in this chair too much, you usually see her on the couch or the floor with the boys. Her girlfriend IM'd her last night so they were chatting and she was watching Sandy thorugh the webcam, she kept asking her to make faces and tell me not to fall asleep on the couch. Sandy just thought it was the funniest thing that people could see into our house and see what we were doing, as if it hadn't been on for over 2 months now. I hate to say it but for as long as my site has been up. This page gets more hits then my entire site put together. I guess people just like to watch other people. I have my list of people that I check on every now and then to see what they are up to. There is one couple that has an infrared camera in their bedroom so that you watch them sleep all night. I would love to do that, just so I could see how I toss and turn all night long.
I should go to sleep, I have to be at WHQ by 8:00am todya, so I will get about 4 hours of sleep. It was a good thing that I feel asleep earlier while watching my wings. but I did get to see all the scoreing. They are kicking butt and only getting better.
