Sean is in this class on Thursday nights that he and mom would go to. This week he asked to have me go with him. I was so honored. I didn't realize how much he and I don't play together at home till we were playing in class. We were driving cars around and it was just him and I, being the second child, he always has to play with Garrett and I. I hope that he had fun and wants me to go again some time, but he did say that he wants mommy to go with him next time. We will see.
I haven't been on this thing for about two nights now. That is rare. Last night we went to my best friends brother's for dinner and to see my best friend. He lives in California (however you spell it), so we don't get to see them that often. So it was nice to go do that. I was so tired when I got home I remember sitting in the chair watching the 3rd period of the wings game and the next thing I knew it was 2:00am and all the lights were out. Nicholas slept through the night, but Garrett ended up in bed with us and he sure does take up a lot of space for a Little kid.
I haven't been good about work lately. I just don't have the passion for it that I thought I would. I thought this is what I always wanted. My old boss always joked about getting what you wish for, you might just get it. Basically she means that the grass isn't always greener on the other side. I feel so lost there some times. Most of me wants to stay technical, but then there is that part that wants to prove I can lead and be good at it. Unfortunately the previous is pulling me in that direction. As much as it would break my Fathers heart, I think I need to find something that I like doing, not just work there because I a strong company and its not going anywhere. You can tell that I had a couple of beers after hockey, spelling is very bad and I'm just rambling.
Hockey was good tonight, I couldn't get a bounce my way, but I got a good workout and got out of the house without the family and that is needed. Tonight (Friday) we have 3 families coming over just to hang out, it will be a total of 11 kids and our house isn't big. It should be interesting. I think we are going to try and take the boys to see Monsters Inc. this weekend. Nick will have to stay at home. I'm just not ready to take him to a theater.
There are 7 days till Harry Potter. If you haven't read it, I would its a great book and then you can see the movie on Nov 16th. Enough for now, I need to get some sleep. I want to be at work by 7:00 so that I can leave early and help out the wife at home.
