Plane Crash

I know, I haven't updated in over 4 days. I have been busy and I haven't really been working on the computer at home. Yesterday brought us another plane crash. I started thinking that we were going to go through this all over again, but it seems to be an accident at this point. I find myself looking up at the sky more since the 11th, this morning, I noticed that there were a lot of plane trails going around in circles, we are the flight path into city airport, but I couldn't figure out what was going on. I guess they were just circling the planes to line them up to land.

Yesterday we took the kids to get there Christmas picture taken with their cousins. Garrett wore a tie, he looked so cute and yet so much not like a baby or a toddler anymore. Sean for the 3rd year in a row, put up a fight about getting his picture taken, till I walked out of the room and then he was fine. Nicholas, is basically like Garrett when it comes to pictures, He just sits there and smiles.

We had a very interesting weekend. Friday night we had 3 couples and their children over to our house. That was 11 kids under the age of 8, actually 9 of them were 5 and under. There were only 4 girls in the bunch. It all went well and the kids had a great time. The wings won 1-0 that night. Saturday brought out the worker in me. I finally decided to get off my ass and work on the yard. The boys and I went out and raked up all the leaves, played in them and then raked them up again. I so miss living in a city were all I had to do was rake them to the street. Instead, I need to bag them. 8 large waste bags later I was done and moved on to mowing the lawn. I don't think I have cut it since September some time. Sandy and I got to go out for the evening with Mike and Grace Ann. We went to Macaroni Grill for dinner and then went to go see a movie (K-PAX). The movie was really good and I was really into it when the fire alarms went off in the theater and we all had to evacuate the building. Of course we came out in the back of the theater and the car was way around the front of it. As far as we could tell, it was just a false alarm, but Sandy and Grace Ann were worried that there was a bomb, anthrax, the were bombing us, oh and maybe there was a fire. I wasn't that panicked, I was just pissed that I didn't get to see the end of the movie. We went to a coffee shop after that and then went home, passing the 30 theater theater. It was opened again. I wanted to stop and get a refund, but Grace Ann had all the tickets. Sunday brought us once again to another theater. We dropped Nick off at my parents and took the boys to go see Monsters INC. We all enjoyed the movie very much. This was Sean's first movie and I think he did very well.

The big night this week will be Friday for me. Sandy and I have tickets to go see Harry Potter on opening night. I'm a very obsessive person. I have started reading these books and just can't stop. I wanted to have the first done before I went to see the movie and I was able to do that and then I got through the second one on Saturday night. I stayed up to 4:15 reading it and read almost 200 pages and for as fast as I read, that was pretty good. I have not started the 3rd book and find that I would rather read these books then watch TV or work on the computer. I don't know what is going to happen to me when I finish the 4th book, the 5th doesn't come out till February some time. But from what I have seen of the previews of the movie, it looks a lot like the way I pictured it from the book.

That's enough for now, you are probably asleep or have left the page. Check back later for more. TTFN
