Games

I still haven't gotten through the desk, I keep getting sidetracked with my new games, Harry Potter and Monopoly Tycoon. Hockey was not good on Thursday, I thought would be better from laying around all day, but all it really did was make be slower. Friday we took the kids down to see the GLI, Sean didn't like it at first, but he had a lot of fun when the kids got to walk on the ice. Garrett didn't get into the hockey till the second game when Michigan Tech's mascot came out and skated on the ice. He was a guy in a Huskies costume. He was throwing a football up into the stands and they were throwing back down to him. I still don't think Garrett cared about the game, but he didn't want to leave anymore. Saturday night we had the Brunicardi / Mitchell Christmas party. We were supposed to do it a week ago, but they were all sick and we didn't want them infecting our kids. Sunday was another day of laying around for me. Sandy went out shopping again so I got to watch the kids. Nicholas has his first tooth coming through. The boys were supposed to spend the night at my sister-in-laws, but Garrett didn't want to go and Sean was having fun over there till she said it was time for bed and he wanted to know why he wasn't going home. She ended up bringing him back about 11:30. Its really hard as a parent to know what your kids are going to do in a situation like that. They had both been talking about it all week and really sounded excited about it.

Off to play Harry Potter. If I haven't wished you a Happy New Year! There you go!
