Well today was the day of the ultrasound. Everything is going well and we are still on track for the baby. Dad has moved his computer out into the living room and reduced the space by 1/2. Mom and Dad are going to start working on Garrett's New room and then the baby will move into Garrett's current room. We are hoping this won't disrupt him that much. We have found that with Garrett around we don't notice this pregnancy as much as we had with the first one. I think its just because we have Garrett running us around when he is awake. Mom is feeling good and she has only thrown up one time, during this pregnancy, that is one more time then she did during the first one. She is starting to feel the baby more now. In fact at the ultrasound today we saw it doing flips, almost looked like it was doing aerobics. Mom is thinking its a girl, but Dad thinks a girl will be the death of him. We will have to wait and see.

You are progressing along fine. Your mother and I are very curious to your sex. I think that you are going to be a girl, but mom thinks that you are going to be a boy. I thinks its just because she can't picture being with a baby girl, though she would love dressing you up. There is only so much that you can do in dressing a boy. They are just going to get dirty anyway. We have felt you dancing alot inside mother. She thinks that sometimes you are having a party down there and we are getting worried that you are going to be a party animal. I finished working on the last piece of furniture that I needed to get out of your room. We moved the extra TV to mom and dad's room. You are taking over what used to be my computer room. So I had to move that out to the family room and now your bother wants to spend more time on it with me. No doors to lock him out. You only have about 16 more weeks before we see and we can't wait.

Nothing exciting happened this week. I'm working more and more on getting a room for you. We did play a little last night. You were kicking and I was pushing back on you. Mom said that you were going crazy, while I was playing with you. You space is going to get small soon. Mom had some friends over this week and they seem to think that you are going to be a boy. I'm still figuring you are a girl.

Well we are going through a big snow storm again. Mom thinks you are going to dance right out of her. You are very active. We don't remember Garrett being so active. He is able to say baby and point to mumma's belly now. I still don't think he understands what's going to happen to him in the next couple of months.

Mom and I played with you last night, I would push on one side and you would move to the other. We think you had the hiccups last night. Mom said you were just going crazy, that's why I started playing with you. We haven't done anything to your room yet, but I was just realizing that Mom is in her 3rd trimester and I should probably get off my butt and start working on it.

Well its less then 10 weeks and you will be with us. Your Mother and I are having a hard time trying to figure out what your name is going to be if you are a boy. I like Jacob, but it was the #1 name in Michigan last year. Other names are Ethan, Jared, Joshua, those are my choices. I will try and get some choices from your Mother. If you are a girl, we have your name set, we had that set from before your brother was born. If he was going to be a girl, he was going to be Isabelle and then we would probably have a problem with finding a girls name. Well your mother has decided that we are going to use your room for Easter dinner, so I don't have to do any work on it till after Easter. Your bother is going on his first Easter Hunt in the morning. We can't wait to see what he is going to do. We figured out what bedroom set we are going to get him, so you are going to get some of his old furniture, till you are big enough to care or get your own. I'm going to go for now, but I just wanted you to know that I love you very much and you aren't even here yet. See you in a week or so.

Well we have 7 weeks till you grace us. I'm thinking that mom looks just like she did with your brother, so you could be a boy. We ask Garrett what he wants and he always says a Sister. So I don't know who you disappoint. Him or Me. You won't disappoint me that much if you are a girl. I guess that mom has to have someone to dress up at some point. We got your ordered your brothers bedroom set the other night. It probably won't be in before you are here, but we have an extra crib for him and we picked up a dresser for him, so you are set at least for furniture. We have to start painting your room at some point, but I have been really busy with work and other things in my life. That is why I haven't updated your page in a couple of weeks. I can't believe how fast these last couple of months have gone by. Can't wait to see you. That's all for now.

We are 26 days away from meeting you if you stay till term. We have done a lot since I was last here. We have painted your room, your mother picked out a color called Banana Split. Its not as bad as it sounds, Its kind of a pale yellow, but you really can't see the yellow in it. We have your crib setup, but we still have to get the blinds in and up and paint your border, you will see that we have decided to stick with the smiley face idea like we did with your brother, it only makes sense, because we already had the stuff. I'm very excited about seeing you, but on the other hand I'm hoping that you will hold off as long as you can. I have a lot of work at work to get done before I can take off, but I'm really looking forward to taking the time off. It has been very busy at work for me this year. Your mother and I have decided on a name for you if you are a boy. You will be called Sean Thomas Mitchell. Thomas from me and Sean, because everything else didn't sound good. Your brother has been very good about giving some of his stuff up for you, but he does tend to spend a lot of time in your room. We took his rocker out yesterday and he seems to be OK with it, but wouldn't you know, I needed to rock him last night and didn't have the rocker in there. I'm going to go for now. I hope that I have more to say next week.

Well you can come any day now. Thank you for waiting till we got through the month of May. I had a lot of work that I needed to get done. I wanted to have it all done before you came. Mom and I have been putting the final touches on your room. We painted smiley faces on the wall and your brother loves the one that I painted upside down. We got your blinds in and now they are covering the window. Your mom has been a crazy woman lately, she just seems to be going non stop, but this was expected. She and your Grand Mother went out the other day and shopped the whole day, coming home with a curtain rod for your room and the material to make the curtain that Grandma is going to make for us. I'm really getting excited about you. I can't wait to see you and I know mom feels the same way, she says that you have run out of room in there and she can't seem to catch her breath. The next time that I update this, you will probably be here. I wonder what you will be?

Well we are home from the hospital, you did a wonderful job. I'm glad to say you are a boy, not that I wouldn't be happy with a girl, but boys are easier in some ways. Your Mother is doing well, she called me at work on the day you were born in the morning and said that she was having harder contractions then she had been having. She was supposed to see the doctor in the afternoon, so she went to the appointment at 5:00pm and I left work to go over to Grandma K's house. Wouldn't you know it, it was the worst day to drive on the freeways that I have seen all year. It took me an hour and 15 mins to get home when I went into work and it only took me 25 mins to get there that day. Your mom called me and told me that the doctor had checked things out and said that she would see us at the hospital later, I guess she shook things up inside your more, because the contractions that she was having before the appointment were nothing like the ones that she was having after. So I caught up with her and your brother at Grandma K's house and of course your mother wanted to eat dinner before we went. We made it into the hospital at about 7:30pm. She went through some labor and then they gave her some medicine and she was fine till we started pushing about 11:00pm. Mom had 3 good pushes and your head crowned out. She stopped pushing at that point and you decided that you were done and you shook your head till it was all the way out. Mom made one more push and you came out at 11:16pm, you were announced a boy and I was very happy to finally see you. You seem much smaller then your 2yr old brother. You are as light as a feather. You are doing now what you do best and that is eat and sleep. I'm going to check on you now. I will write more later.

Well I have been here a week and a half. Its hard getting some time on the computer, fighting with my brother and father. And now that dad got a new chair for his birthday its even harder. I'm glad that dad is back to work now, he is going to be at a reasonable time, so here I am. Life hasn't been too eventful so far, but I did gain 8 ozs. The doctor also heard a heart murmur, but it seems to be fine. The doctor says that my heart is in perfect working order, it just makes a noise. My greeting from my family got move here if you want to see it. I think I hear my father coming and I'm supposed to be sleeping. Gotta go. Later.

Hi, I'm getting bigger everyday. I can't wait till I'm big enough to fight back when my brother comes after me. I'm just thankful that my Mom and Dad try to protect me from him. I know he loves me, but sometimes it just seems like too much love. I have had some problems with the formulas that I have been getting, but I think that Mom and Dad have it figured out now and I don't seem to be getting the stomach aches that I was getting. They just wish that I would start sleeping through the night, I tell them that they were spoiled with my brother and that I like to party at 3:30 in the morning, which is OK during the week, because Mom will get up with me, but Dad is not to happy on the weekend to do that. Other than that nothing much going on now. I have started smiling a little and talking a tad, but mostly just little noises that aren't grunts.

Its been a while. Dad is too busy with work to update my page. I'm going to be going for my 6 month checkup tomorrow. In the time that has past, I have gotten two teeth on the bottom and I'm sleeping through the night. My brother loves me too much at times and is always tackling me. I'm finally getting some hair, so maybe my head will stay warm now. I have moved to eating baby food, beats having that bottle all the time. I'm sitting up a lot now. I have had a lot of colds this year. I think my brother has given me those as well. I'm going to go for now, not much more to tell.
