If you have been here before, you will notice that I have changed the page again. I wasn't happy with the way that it looked after seeing my Buddy Greg's page. I think it looks better, but let me know what you think about it.
The wedding didn't end up being all that bad. I'm Catholic, but not really practicing, so it was interesting to see a wedding with a Christen minister. You expect the wedding to have some kind of mass and then the wedding part, but he started telling this story and it went on an on and most of the people in the audience were looking at each other wondering what the hell he was talking about. I hope it made sense to the Bride and Groom. After the service, they shooed us to the back of the room so that the waiters could come and clear out the chairs and move the tables in. So it was a good time for me to get in line for drinks. I would stand in that line 5 times in the first 1/2 hour I was there, getting drinks for me and the rest of Sandy's family. Dinner was about to start and they did the prayers and then told us it was going to be a buffet, but wouldn't you know that the only table (seating was unassigned) we could get was in the back of the room and we were about the last people to go. The head table was done for 1/2 hour before we went up to get our food. The talk in the cheap seats was all that nice about the food arrangements either. Sandy ended up getting pretty drunk and she was having a great time. She needs that every now and then. The funniest thing on the night was a guy that sat at our table, turned out to be a guy that I play hockey with. We didn't really know each other that well, but hockey will never be the same after Sandy was ripping into him for not setting a date for his wedding.
Sunday we ended up going to the Zoo, with it being cold here, we didn't think that anyone else would be there. We were wrong, it was 55 degrees out and everybody and their brother came out there that day. They have a new exhibit that we hadn't seen yet. It is called that Artic Ring of Life. Its where they moved the polar bears and seals and other snowy wildlife, but the coolest thing about it is that they created a glass tunnel that goes right under the pool. So you could stand in the tunnel and have seals and Polar Bears swimming around you. I had one that was about a foot from me and I was going to get a picture of it, but wouldn't you know that was when the batteries on my camera died, I had extra ones with me, but they were in the bag on the stroller and my father was already through with the stroller. Oh well, maybe next time.
My stomach hasn't felt that great since the afternoon after the zoo. I don't know what it is, but I hope it goes away soon.
Hope you like the design of the new page. Have a great day.
