Show of hands, how many people have ever driven behind a person with a radar detector? OK, now how many have been stuck behind that same person going slower then the posted speed limit with no way of getting around them? If yes, welcome to my drive to work this morning. Not a good way to start out a Monday. But hey lets take a look at Sunday. The Lions everyone's favorite team from Detroit, gives the Bears the ball in OT after winning the toss and then lose the came. This coach is a moron to think that his shitty team would be able to stop the Bears after they had already scored 10 points to put the game in OT in the last 3 minutes of the game. I just don't get it sometimes. That is why I'm a Red Wings fan. At least they can win, most of the time.
Christmas is approaching very quickly and in our household it has been talked about since before Halloween. I have told Garrett that he can't have any decorations till after Thanksgiving, but that is not stopping him from trying. He was able to get my father to hang up lights outside yesterday. Of course that meant that I would have to help. I just love hanging lights up in the cold...NOT! I will have to do ours on Friday of this week and then on Saturday we will be going to get the tree, but I'm excited about that. Garrett and I have been working on the train table that will go under the tree and its going to look great this year. I will post some of the pictures that we took through the building of it when I get around to it. I 'm also thinking of setting up the cam in the basement so that you can watch me work. I know it hasn't been on much, but we really haven't been home much.
