Ouch

I was super tired this morning. It was a long week and I put in a few hours there. I left at 5:45pm last night to go to my parents for dinner. Its about 10mins from work as opposed to the 30mins to my house. We had a great dinner and were just laying around watching the wings play and flipping to movies when the score got to be so big. It was about 9:30 and my was asleep in one chair, Sandy was asleep on the couch, the kids and my mom were playing in the basement and I was dosing off, when my phone rang. Off to work I had to go. They had been working on our server remotely and rebooted it, but it never came back up. I was glad to be at my parents. Ran back in to reboot, test PC’s and printers and it was an hour and 1/2 before I got back to my parents. We put the kids in the van and we had two cars to drive home. We were both falling asleep on the ride home and a couple of times I think Sandy went out. I was watching her weave. anyone else would have thought she was drunk.

We made it home, got the kids to bed and I decided that I needed to scrape the ice on the driveway. We had house showing this morning and I didn’t want anyone to slip. That’s all I need is a lawsuit for slipping on my driveway. I did as much as I could, it was pretty frozen.

I got the kids dressed this morning and finished off the driveway, it was about 40 degrees at this point and that is where the ouch came in. As I was scraping the ice away, I didn’t know that I was scraping my skin away also. When I had finally noticed. I was missing a good chunk of my palm and it hasn’t stopped hurting yet.
