Today is opening day for the Tigers here and its a womping 30 degrees outside. Do you like baseball and do you have a favorite team?

I would say that I’m a cubs fan if I ever watch baseball, but I have never seen a game in Chicago in person, but I would love to some day. I have been near the stadium during visits to the city. As for the Tigers, they suck and always will.

Of all the sports out there, baseball is the one that drives me the most insane. I would rather sit in a vat of burning hot oil and have bamboo shoots shoved under my fingernails than watch baseball.
Ok, maybe that is a tad dramatic but you get the picture.
I'm such a girl- figure skating and gymnastics- that's what I will watch.

I smell Road Trip! The Cubs are my team, and somehow as long as they are in Wrigley Field they always will be. I can remember the first game I got to go alone as a high school teenager - took the train into town, the game went 17 innings against the Mets, and my mom was worried sick since I didn't leave the game and come home until after it was over.
I'm a Bears fan too. Weird for a Michigander, eh?
Wouldn't do a baseball game in 30 degree weather anymore, and certainly not a football game in the snowstorms of yesteryear (Soldier Field).
But I would do something crazy like going to Chigago for a Cubs game sometime this year - what say we play hookie one Friday from work and head to an evening game in Chicago - but perhaps we ought not bring the girls - there are some big shopping malls there and.... Oh what the heck, we'll bring 'em, send them off to the mall, drink beer, watch the game, and who cares?!
