As you know Friday Nicholas came home from the hospital, and he is doing great. He is having a slight problem with pooping, but that is because of the codeine in his Tylenol. He has been off that for about 12 hours now, so we are hoping that we can get some foods to get that out of him. He’s been saying owie and I ask him where it hurts and you would expect him to point to his throat and instead he is pointing to his butt.
As we were laying around wallowing in our mess on Friday, because we were too tired to clean, Sandy went to the bed room to take a nap. Nick was looking for her and he climbed in bed and too a nap with her, he needed it so much. The phone rings and it was our realtor, he was saying that he had some people sitting out in front of the house that want to come in now. I lifted up my head from the couch and looked out the window and sure enough there they all were just staring at me. I looked around the room and thought to myself that I really don’t want to clean up for them, so I thought for a second come back another day, you are just going to spend 5 minutes in the house and I’m going to run around with my head cut off to get it cleaned for you, but then of course the thought that you don’t want to turn anyone away came over me and I said give me 10 mins. I woke Sandy up and told her we had 10 minutes, she was not very happy, we left Nick to sleep and cleaned the house. They showed back up and we told the baby was sleep from his surgery and just try to be quite when you go through that room. Of course we are now outside playing with the boys. They beat the 5 min mark, I think that they stayed 10 mins. I’m glad I ran around and cleaned up for them.
Now my realtor is out of town for the week in Ireland, so I called the replacement and told him that we found some information that the realtor was interested in about the basement and would he mind passing it along. He said sure, she had just called and said they were going to write up and offer. Being that I have never met this guy or talked to him before, I was thinking that he was joking and the fact that we didn’t hear anything till 7:30 last night, when I was out cooking and Sean came up to me and said there is a mommy in my driveway. I walked over to look and it was their realtor, she said she was having a hard time getting a hold of our realtor and would get him to call her. She wanted to close the deal this weekend. So to shorten the story up somewhat. We sold our house by 9:30 last night, now we have 60 days to get out and into our new house, which we haven’t found yet.
I’m up for this challenge though, I was so tired of selling, I ready to start buying.

When my ex sold his house, it was pretty much under the same circumstances. We were in bed, had just woken up, ding-dong, the doorbell rings, it's the realtor with a couple wanting to look at the house. We quickly threw on some clothes. They toured the place. By the next day they wanted the house and everything in it. My ex had to be out in a month. Jeez. Congrats on selling the house!
