Garage Sale

What is it with Garage Sales? I don’t know what people see in other peoples garbage. Sandy is having one today and the rest of this week (stuff we really don’t want to take with us to the new house) and her girlfriend made $1500 doing one last week. I just don’t get it. I think maybe its just the snob in me that would rather go buy something new and pay top dollar then to get it slightly used and pay less.

Now when it comes to eBay that is another story. I guess its just the internets garage sale, but I have gotten a lot of really good Lionel Trains from auctions out there, but I think I like the game of eBay as much as getting the item that I want.

So I can’t park in my garage now because there is all this shit in there that I was going to throw out, but Sandy thinks that someone else would really be interested in buying it. If they were smart, the would wait till I throw it out next week when it doesn’t sell.

Come by and see what you want and just wait till I throw it out next wednesday night.

I feel the same way about "garbage" sales.

You and Mike. He hates anything that is second hand. Total snob.

Now I dig thrift shops and garage sales. One person's garbage is another treasure. ;-)

thrift shops, to me, are somehow different...we've found some great furniture there when we didn't have much of anything...i wouldn't buy clothes there however...and people down here almost live for garage sales...i hate them...
