Daniel reminded me of a time that I was driving home late one night from MSU back to our house. Its only a 2 hour trip, but I was pretty tired so I decided to pull into a rest stop and take a nap. It was a cold night so I left the car and heat on. I fell asleep pretty easily and as I drifted off into REM, I jumped quickly thinking that I was going to hit the on coming traffic. Once I calmed down and realized that I was sitting in the rest area I was awake enough to make the rest of the drive home. Pretty wild to think you are still driving when you are parked and sleeping in the car.

dude. that would be kinda scary. i could imagine my heart would be racing and stuff. but nowadays it's scary JUST BEING in a rest area at night!!
