#74 - Homecoming

It’s Homecoming on my campus this week, and there are various class reunions… so here’s a wrap-up that’s mostly fluff, but reflects on days past.

  1. Did you enjoy Homecoming when you were a teenager or in college? Why or why not?
In high school no, but in college, we just used it as another day to get drunk.

  2. What sort of activities did your class or school offer during Homecoming week? Which ones did you participate in? Why?
I can’t remember, I never participated in them.

  3. What are the best and worst things about Homecoming? Why?
Getting Drunk was the best, seeing old friends is great. Remember how dorky I looked in my suit at the high school dance really sucks.

  4. Have you gone to a class reunion (high school or college) since graduating? Why or why not? How much time had passed since graduation?
I have gone to one class reunion from High School. My 5 year. I didn’t want to go to another on till I have more stuff then anyone else and that isn’t going to happen any time soon. For college I have never gone to one. In 3 years it will be my 20 year reunion from High School, I might go to that one.

  5. If you could redo your life all over again, what would you do different during Homecoming? Why?
If I could do my life all over again. I wouldn’t do High School, but rather do college twice. I don’t miss doing anything with homecoming, I’m just not one of those people.

Oh yeah- college homecomings were definitely another excuse to get drunk. So was St. Patty's day. Oh lordie- we would start hitting the bars at 9am and party until the wee hours of the morning. It's a wonder that I still have a functioning liver after college..
