Pain in the Foot

Have you ever had a toenail cutting into your foot?

Yesterday morning, my toes were looking like some kind of monster, so I cut my nails. Today I have been walking around most of the day and I have a toenail that is digging into my big toe and I just can’t stand to walk on it. I have taken my shoe and sock off here at work to do a little surgery, but it hasn’t helped and before you go nuts on me I warned everyone that I was going to be doing it and they could stay away from me for 15 minutes. Besides, my feet don’t smell.

nope, glad to say i never had that problem...maybe you should have Sandy look at it when you get home?

Sounds like it might be an ingrown toe nail. Those things can get infected and you could lose your toe! Do what my grandmother would recommend. Soak your foot in some warm epsom salt then dry your foot thoroughly. If it doesn't start to feel or look better, please have a doctor look at that thang.

Somehow I knew I didn't want to read that extended entry . . . I agree with everyone else here, soak it in Epsom salts, give it a few days, if it doesn't get better, go see the doctor.

Yep, Ive had it...but I just let it fester then soak it and squeeze the puss out, then its fine the next day. My brother had to have surgery on his though :(
