It was a wonderful day in the Mitchell household. After my morning blog, I started working on replacing the switches in the kitchen and everything was going well till I found that one of my 3-way switch’s was only a single that someone had switched boxes to get it cheaper. That’s OK though I could work around it. I was going to run to Meijers to see if they had another one. When I went to turn the power on before I left so that Sandy and her mom could see what they were doing in the kitchen, it wouldn’t come back on. I know the circuit breaker was a little faulty, but of course it chose today to go completely bad. So I had more to get a Meijers. Everything else was closed and wouldn’t you know, they had all the old type fuses, but not the new ones. They didn’t have a 3 way switch either, so I went home with a birthday card and some red and green colored light bulbs. Luckily I had a circuit breaker in the box that I couldn’t figure out what it was connected to, so I switched them and used that one. So I have to go get a new one today as well as a new switch.
After that the day went well. The Lions won the game and until dinner everyone was having a great day. When we sat down for dinner, Sean went crazy because someone was sitting in his seat. So we spent the dinner listen to him bitching and kicking the wall and slamming the doors. Needless to say I lost my appetite.
Other then that the rest of it went well and I have wonderful day off today to sit around. I was going to work on the Christmas lights but its raining. Maybe it will stop and I can work on them later. I think we are supposed to go out and get our tree tomorrow, so there is more work there.
