Wow, what is up with the weather. Yesterday it was 68 degrees and then the next thing I know it gets so windy last night that my big trees looked they were little twigs and the temp today is in the 30’s. I went to bed fairly early, but I had a hard time falling asleep, it kept sounding like the house was going to blow away just like in the Wizard of OZ. When I woke up this morning, I remembered that we had chairs out on the porch and I ran down and didn’t see them. I found one in the flowerbed in front and the other I found around the corner up against a tree. I also found our flag in the middle of the lawn. The wind had ripped the flag pole right off the wall.
On my way to work this morning, I was getting gas and the pumped stopped so I thought I was done, it wasn’t till I was driving again and came to the light that I realized that the power was out. So here’s hoping I got a free tank of gas. They screw us for it anyway so it doesn’t bother me.
