the friday five is taking the week off and I don’t know how I’m going to survive, so this is the 5 things that I did this week.
- Put the train up around the christmas tree.
- Went to a cub scout pack meeting
- Played hockey Wednesday and Thursday night.
- Got mine and the boys hair cut.
- Survived till friday with no more then 4 hours of sleep every night.
What did you do?

1. Put up Christmas decorations, including tree.
2. Baked 2 dozen cookies. One dozen colored sugar cookies for kiddos, one dozen chocolate crinkles for me. ;-)
3. Washed, dried, folded and put away 14 loads of laundry. Yeah- that's a lot, I agree.
4. Braved the mall in order to get some Christmas shopping done. I'm still recovering 2 days later.
5. Rearranged my bedroom furniture. I just can't seem to find that "just perfect" placement for everything.
Hope you are able to catch up on your sleep this weekend, hon- that is not enough for anyone.

what did i do?
1) worked of course, got a lot accomplished since my "partner in crime" wasn't here this week
2) band rehearsal on thursday
3) cleaned up the house for one scheduled showing at our house ...it's been slow due to the holidays :(
4) thought about decorating my cubicle with christmas lights but didn't do it... yet...
5) received my brand new laptop this week. been working on it off and on to get it all "customized" to the way i like it. that takes a lot of time...

Christmas is this month? Really? *looks at calendar*. Uh oh. I'd better get moving with the festive decorations, then. I guess there's some merit in keeping your lights up all year (like some people I know, ahem).
