Tommys Thoughts

I don’t know if it was the thought of the last day of work or the fact that Christmas is going to be in two days…..

I was dead tired yesterday from wrapping presents till 2:00am the night before and then we had to go to the TV station with the cub scouts and that wasn’t all that bad. I got home and Sandy went shopping. I got the boys in bed and then I laid down on the couch and watched TV for 2 minuets and then I was out, that was about 10:15. Sandy woke me up at 2:00am and said go to bed. I went up there and tossed and turned for about 30 minutes and then said I can’t sleep anymore. Back to the TV, hoping it would put me back to sleep but no go. I watched a couple of movies and then I heard the alarm going off. Now I have been hitting the snooze on it for 2 hours in the last couple of weeks, so I decided that I would get showered get dressed and come to work early for my last day. I walk out the door and slam my finger in it. I get about a mile from the house and I can no longer keep my eyes open. I guess I should have gone out in the car at 3:00 last night. Thankfully I only had 40 minutes to find the nods today. There is no traffic on the road at 6:30 in the morning. Especially now that most people are off of work. So it was nice coming and getting a jump on things. Now just to sit down and count the minutes till I can leave, but I think that will be about 1:00 pm today.
