The week started off great. I was up till 3:30am doing bills, because I was doing it to slow in front of the TV. I moved to the computer room about 1:00 and knocked out a ton of it. I haven’t done them in over a month and thanks to most be automatically removed. I was ok there. I had so many receipts to enter in it was unbelievable. We spend too much money.
So when I went to bed, I checked the alarm and time and thought to myself that it was going to go off in 2 hours and 15 minutes. Then I must have shut it off. Sandy woke up at 8:20 and Garrett was supposed to start school at 8:30. Oops. She yelled at Garrett to wake up and there was no answer, she got out of bed and yelled at him again, but he was not in his bed. She went downstairs and he said what. “You knew you had to go to school, why didn’t you wake us up?” Of course she was mad at me, but taking it out on him. She said hurry, get dressed and we will eat in the car. I helped Sean get ready because he starts at 8:45. Same school. Garrett’s complaint. “Mom, I always eat breakfast before I get dressed.” Here reply “If you had woken me up you would have gotten it today, now maybe you will eat your whole lunch”. I got out of bed and knew I was way late, so it didn’t matter anymore. I got Nick dressed, he wanted to be, but he was ok with not taking the boys to school. I fed him and then I took my shower and got ready. Sandy came home and she was still frazzled. I said “No use getting upset over it, it happens, lets try to not have it happen again soon.” She was upset because she never missed a day of school and was never late. Dam goodie goodie.
Oh well, we have a Den meeting tonight, so I will have to leave a little bit early for that, but I guess I will try to get to bed early tonight, so that I can come into work an hour early to make up for it. I skipped lunch, so that helped in the time I missed.
Our weekend was pretty good and very relaxing for once. Friday night we went to the neighbors for a cookie exchange between 7 families. It was fun and there was lots to eat and lots to drink. One of our neighbors gets pretty sexually oriented when she is drunk, so it was pretty funny listening to what she had to say. Some people didn’t feel that way, but after being a TKE at school nothing surprises me anymore.
Saturday I just laid around and then we invited our nearest neighbors over to watch the hockey game. This was the first time that we had them over. The kids had been over a ton of times, but I was always busy working on the house. It was nice to just sit around watch the game (it sucked we lost) and drink and talk. We showed them our trains and there were pretty impressed and now were trying to figure out how to top us, but it won’t happen. I’m very good at going overboard on the train stuff. We had a problem with one of our pieces so we didn’t get to show it to them, but I won’t get a chance to fix it till after we get the trains and the tree off the table so I can flip it over and look at the wiring underneath.
Sunday we went to church and then I made the family go to Canterbury Village, I have been looking for some more decorations for the outside and thought that I just might find them there, but I was unsuccessful, but it was nice to be in the little Christmas Village. I think it got the boys more into the spirit. Garrett has been there before, but just to see his face when we walked into the giant ornament store was priceless I wish I could have caught it on camera.
The rest of our day went as the post started, but the reason I wasn’t getting anything done was because I had watched two movies. First one was (Picking up and Dropping off), it was really good. Nice sappy movie for my sensitive side and the other movie was Femme Fatale, which was a great movie with lots of twists and turns. I would recommend it, especially to the guys the first 15 minutes will blow you away.

Looks like a wonderful place to go; Canterbury Village. Too bad about how the day started. I've had those days.....but you're right; you can't fret about it. It happens. Hope your week is a good one!
