Skating

I took my first step towards being an NHL hockey player last week, when dad took me skating for my first time. He took me once last year, but I wouldn't get out on the ice, so I just watched my brother and him out there. This year I got out there and went around about 5 times. Its hard work, I don't know how they skate really fast for 60 mins every game, but some day I will be like them.

I had a good christmas and got mostly everything that I asked more. The hockey table I got is great and I even beat daddy on it. And finally dad got off his butt yesterday and got me a replacement copy of NBA Live 2004, because the first one he got me for Christmas was bad and we needed new CD's. It works great and I was starting to beat him last night when I let him score a few more then me. I can't make him lose all the time, he might get discouraged.

So I'm back to school today in my new sports outfit that mommy bought me, but I can't wait to get home so that I can wear the new Red Wings hat that dad got me yesterday. He was mumbling something about the size of my melon and that I would have to wear an adult size hat, but I think the youth size one (that actually fit dad fine) worked for me. I think maybe he is just jealous that I have this size head and more brains then him.
