MovableType 3.0 just came out 10 days ago. Are you going to upgrade or did you and what do you think of the new version. The one author thing really bothers me. I have a separate id that really has no rights other then posting to my site and I wouldn’t be able to use that anymore under the new one unless I pay $69 for the 5 author version.

i don't use MT, i wrote my own blog tool. but i'm curious, what features did 3.0 have that made you upgrade? i hear of a lot of people who are just sticking with the older versions.

i heard you could have up to three authors for the free version...w/more than that you have to upgrade the licensing or something...
i've already installed wordpress on another blog and will be trying other things (expression engine, etc.) in the coming weeks...it will take alot to get me to abandon MT...but i refuse to upgrade to 3.0...

I'm sticking with MT 2.661 for now. I'm happy with it, and I haven't seen anything in 3.0 that would make me pay for an upgrade at this point. My understanding is that this release of 3.0 is primarily for developers, so maybe when the final release comes out I'll take the plunge. I'm letting the dust settle before I make any decisions.

I'm sticking with 2.661 because it seems to work just fine for me. I don't see the point in upgrading if there are no bells and whistles with the 3.0 version.
