Sad Day in Mitchellville

Very tired today, because I was up late and then had to get up at 5:15 to get to a 7:15 meeting at work.

It was a horrible night, but we finally saw the wings play their strongest 2 periods in the playoffs, with the exception of game four in the 3rd. I hated to see either goalie lose last night, they both played out of their minds, though I would have liked to see Kiprosoff lose in the end, it didn’t happen and here I am very tired and done with Red Wing Hockey for the rest of the year. I still have Toronto to pull for, but I don’t know that they are going to get out of this round either, then I will have to align with Tampa, but I really don’t have any feelings for them one way or the other.

Sandy worked last night, but took the time to call me in between each job to discuss the game, it wasn’t the same as having her sitting next me moaning, screaming and bitching about what was going on, but it was better then not sharing it with her at all. I think Wilma the person she works with thought we were pretty funny and maybe a little too obsessed with the Wings, but Hockey is the greatest sport in the world and having a great team makes it easier to get obsessed over. Well now they will be playing golf and we will have to watch the other teams till its done and then how long will it be done? There is the hope that the owners and players will come to an agreement this summer, but that is not looking very likely, so we will have to go quite a while without hockey.

Have a great day.
