My team played a great game last night, they hit they fieled the ball great and they even made some plays, but just like the previous two games that we were leading at the top of the 6th, we just didn’t have enough points for me to feel comfortable. We were up by 4 and the inning started out great with one out and then we have about 4 errors and the next thing we knew they were down by one with a guy on third. The next batter struck out and then the next batter hit a grounder to first and we got him out and low and behold we won our first game of the season. Garrett was indifferent to the whole thing, but Sean came out to the field and gave me a hug, he was happy, he seems to understand the score thing where Garrett doesn’t really care, he just has fun playing. I think in the long run Garrett will be much better off. Sean is going to be all pissy when he loses just like I am. I don’t know how Garrett got so relaxed about it, Sandy and I are the same when it comes to winning and losing. The only time something is fun is when you are winning. It makes losing hard, but it makes you play harder to win. I guess I had different teachers when I grew up. Now they are all about fair play and it doesn’t matter who wins or loses, it just how you played the game. Don’t get me wrong I think thats great, I would just like to be how we played the game, but also won. I know I’m not making any sense now, its late on Friday and I have given up on working on anymore audit stuff. I’m just sick of looking at it. I may speak again and I may not, so I will say now, have a great weekend!
Almost forgot, I tried my tux on last night and only the shrirt fit me correctly, so I have to go back tonight and try it on again.
