When it comes to hockey, I am a die hard Red Wings fan, win or lose I’m there for them. Now that hockey is over, I have either baseball (Tigers are doing some what better this year) or basketball. Being a tall person who can’t shoot a ball through a hoop, makes you a volleyball player and I love to do that, but I’m talking about the Pistons now.
It was the quarter finals of the NBA playoffs and the Red Wings had just finished their season, so I was started to get excited about the Pistons, but I have always tried to not get too excited, because it just leads to disappointment, but they just kept going along and winning the games they were win. Then they go and upset the Lakers on Sunday night and I started thinking wow, they might be able to do this, so I sat there last night and watched the game and I found myself (someone that knows very little about basketball) yelling at the TV and feeling like I was was shot when Koby hit the Rainbow with 2 seconds left in the game. So for now I’m on the bandwagon, but I’m sure I will be back off it at the end of the season. But for now its exciting. Driving in today I saw on almost all the overpasses banners for the Pistons and that was awesome to see.
Lets hope we can rebound from Last night and take at least 2 when we are at home here.
