I would like to thank all of you that sent me birthday wishes.
I had a very long and tiring Birthday weekend. I mowed Friday night after a lovely dinner on the deck. Saturday we got up for t-ball and then I came home and raked the lawn, because we are going through the snow of cotton wood trees and the lawn looked like shit. Then I worked on putting the bathroom back together and before I knew it I had made us 1/2 hour later for the birthday party we were supposed to be at. We got there, got yelled at and I proceeded to get plowed and had a great time. I remember walking home, it was a good thing we didn’t have to drive. I think I would have killed us. I went home, watched Tampa Bay score their game winning goal and then passed out watching Bruce Almighty to wake up at 4:30 on the couch freezing my ass off. Crawled up the stairs and got into bed so that I could wake up at 7:30 drunk to take a shower and get ready to go out to breakfast with my parents. They got me a new gas weed trimer and a nice pair of pants, so after we got back from breakfast I put it together and went out and started whipping the weeds. Sandy asked me to cut a couple of branches off a tree and the next thing I know I had about 4 hours of work to clean up all the trimming that I did. So by 4:00pm I was really tired and just wanted to lay down. I got to sit for 1/2 hour, but then had to get into shower, so we could drop the kids off at her moms, go to dinner and then off to the Dido concert.
Dido was my birthday present to myself. Sandy likes her music, but doesn’t listen to it like I do. Our seats were 8 rows from the stage and it was like she was sitting in our laps and as much as I would have liked that, Sandy said there was no chance in hell it was going to happen. And it didn’t but she was great and even better in concert then she is on the CD.
After that we drove home and stop at my hockey game. I was planning on playing if I got out of the concert early enough, but that didn’t happen, so we watched the 2nd half of the 2nd period and all of the 3rd and we won, so we are moving onto the next round of the playoffs and I will be playing in that game. I think if we keep playing this well that we will win this whole thing. I hope. After that we went home and I crashed and had a very hard time getting up this morning to come into work, but oh well. Its part of life.
Hope you all had a great weekend!

Sounds like a great weekend. Happy birthday. I'd LOVE to go see Dido in concert. For the price of some of the concert tickets (like Madonna's $300 tix), the artists should be sitting on your lap!

The good thing about a birthday countdown on your website is all the nice notes, cards and wishes. But with good usually comes a little bad - now you gotta look at it and see the next one is a whopping 364 days away!!
