What a Week!

Boy its been an exciting week. After working my butt off last weekend to get the house ready for Sean and Nick’s birthday party, we got to lay around somewhat on Sunday until we left to go out for the basketball game and that was awesome. Monday I found out that my hockey team lost Sunday night to knock us out of the playoffs, but I wouldn’t have passed up finals tickets for one of my hockey games. Tuesday night Garrett’s baseball team had a bad game and they are now out of the playoffs. If you haven’t heard by now the Pistons won Tuesday night and it was great to see. Wednesday brought a glitch to my server, so I was unable to post or pretty much see my site all day long, but I did get to relax somewhat last night, even though I had to do bills and mail that hadn’t been done in over a month. Tonight I hope to get back down to the old rink with the guys I usually skate with on Thursday nights. Friday is more or less a 1/2 day for us. We are going as a project to the bowling aisle after noon, so that will be good and Saturday morning brings us to Sean’s t-ball game. I got to be the coach last week because they didn’t have anyone there to do it and I had a lot of fun with it. His team is good listeners, somewhat different then the kids 2 years older. I think he really liked having me out there, so I will probably do it again this week. I have a hard time being a spectator anyway.

In the afternoon on Saturday, we have WOW cable coming to the house to install my new DVR (Digital Video Recorder) cable box. I guess this thing is supposed to be like Tivo, I can’t wait to play with it. And its only about $7.99 more a month. It should be fun.

On Sunday we are going to our friends house to celebrate families being in town. They are coming in for a wedding on Saturday night and we just don’t get to see each other so much anymore. So you have to do it when you can. I know its fathers day, but this is what I would rather be doing.

So what are your plans for this weekend?

Happy father's day early to a happy dad of three...

This weekend is more of the same (broken record here) more chain sawing, brush clearing and hopefully getting our seawall completed. then the real hard part begins - landscaping the darn thing. Anyway, have a good weekend Tommy.

I need to get a DVR or TIVO because I'm a real tv addict.
This weekend, I had to reschedule my son's birthday party since I just started a new job. I'm going to work and go with my dad. Have a great weekend and Happy Father's Day!
