Challenge Day 4

We have been teasing Garrett about riding his bike all summer and he would just keep saying that he wanted his training wheels back on his bike. Tonight we told him if he rode his bike that we would buy him a new one and we have told him this 25 times already. Something was in the air tonight….He got on and I held his seat, and went half way down the side of our house and let go and he just fell over, but we turned around and he got back on and he rode it for 50 feet without my help. We then took him and the other two boys for a walk on their bikes and by the time we got home he was able to get up and start pedaling without me even having to hold the bike. It brought tears to my eyes, he is growing up. Riding a bike was always a big step in the process.

Memories! That was such a fun time, teaching the boys to ride a bike. Brings a smile to my face for sure.

But then comes teaching them to drive a car. Yikes! Not so much of a smile but some white knuckles.
