Psst has anyone seen the toad

Saturday night I looked in the tank and the Toad was happily in the water and the lizard was under the log sleeping, but Sunday afternoon, we couldn’t find the toad and the lizard looked a little larger, but then I saw him eat two crickets, so I wouldn’t have thought that he was hungry after eating the the toad, so that begs the question did he get out of the cage, but I don’t know how he would have. We called the pet store and they remembered us and said that the lizard wouldn’t have been able to eat the toad completely and there were no remains in the tank that I could see. So I keep looking down as I walk through the house.

I'll send over my cat. He'll find the toad for you! He prolly wouldn't eat it but he WOULD play with it to death. So maybe it's now such a good idea.

Hope you find Mr. Toad.

So who woulda thunk that one of those critters might get out - oh wait, it was me!

Last fall a wild bird somehow got in my basement and after trying to get it out for days, it disappeared. Steve found it this week in my old toolbox. You might check there!!!
