Got to go to the boys school and meet their teachers. Garrett has started the year with a Substitute because his teacher is on Maternity leave. He is not one to be nice to substitute teachers (I think he gets that from my genes). So when we met her last night, she pulled us to the side and told us that he was not doing his work, talking too much and not listening to her at all. I thought Sandy was going to have a cow there, but she controlled herself and then we went home and she reamed him out good. He refuses to say her name even after we talked to him about for 15 minutes. He has never had the other teacher, so I don’t know why he is having such a problem with the sub, he knows no other teacher for this grade. I think it does go back to last year when he had lots of subs because the teacher was always out. I think he needs that authority figure there all the time. Besides listening to her last night, she really didn’t seem to know what was going on and she is supposed to have the class till November 15th. I would think that she could make it her class till then.
On another note, we went to see Sean’s teacher next and everything that she told us, Sean has told us. He is like a vacuum for this stuff and regurgitates it at every meal. We are just so happy, that he is happy at school.
Lastly, Nick will be starting school in a couple of weeks, so Sandy isn’t going to know what to do for 2 hours 2 days a week.

So this is his teacher while the other is on Maturnity leave? When is she due back? I'm not sure if being the 'sub' is the problem, not if he hasn't had the other teacher yet. I could see if maybe part way through the year if his teacher left but now?
What grade is he in? My eldest was fine until he hit third or fourth grade. Now is will be entering the 8th and he is slowly calming down LOL
