Tommys Thoughts

As I was driving in this morning, I was having a hell of a time for the 3rd day this week. I just can’t seem to find the right time, the right route right now to get me to work any faster then 1 1/2 hours. If that wasn’t so bad, you should see the drive home. Its worse. I was sitting there thinking I could get pissed at the assholes in front of me or I could think of something else, so here are some of the thoughts that I came up with, but with the problems my site has been having today, I’m writing this in note pad, so it keeps getting longer with all the stuff that I have been thinking through the day. I feel that if I vent to you, it might make me feel better. Here you go:

1. If Mommy is happy, we are all happy - I had always thought this was true, but now I’m starting to wonder, but at least I know I’m not more unhappy.
2. Do you ever find that when you are down, you look to something that makes your life better? Like a time in the past. Mine always seems to be my college days. I had no responsibilities for anyone but myself. So today I put in a CD by a band called The Ocean Blue that I remember listing to all the time in college. I think that is what got me thinking about this stuff in the first place, but then I got more pissed as I was 1/2 through listening to it for the 2nd time.
3. What is up with these hub caps that spin after you have stopped moving and why do they charge so much for them? Have you ever pulled up next to a car with them and stopped and freaked because you thought you were still moving?
4. I think there should be a law that states if you have to drive under the posted speed limit, you should get some kind of refund. They are going to have no problem giving you a ticket for going over that speed limit.
5. Don’t you hate when you have been in a car driving home for over an hour and you are in your last 1 mile and 1/2 and they lady pulls out in front of you and doesn’t even go the speed limit?
6. Along the same lines as the thought above, wouldn’t it be cool to have cars that didn’t get any damage, so that when this person does it to you, you could just ram the shit out of them?
7. Do you ever feel like all the traffic on the road is going right to your house from your place of work?
8. I understand that we need construction to fix roads, but when you put us into a detour, shouldn’t not do construction on that road too?
9. Remember those old Toyota commercials where the guy had his own lane on the freeway? I want my own lane on the freeway.
10. There should be a rule that says no cops on the freeway or other roads during to and from rush hour. If they are, they should be leading the traffic as the fastest car.
11. Do you ever notice that everything you want it more money then you have?
12. Whenever your in a hurry, why does it take so much longer to get there?
13. Bad Luck Number, but it has never given me bad luck, Knock on wood, I bet it will now.
14. Why is it that we are going into fall and are just now getting summer weather?
15. When they upgrade the hosting server, shouldn’t they inform you that your site will be gone for 2 days or more?
16. We have Snow days, why can’t we have Sun days?
17. Do People have Sex on Hump Day because its Hump Day?
18. Was 2nd grade to early for my first kiss?
19. Why was it till 11th grade before I would kiss a girl again?
20. Can I go back to college again? (same rules as before though)
