I ordered a box car from Lionel and they are located about 5 or 6 miles from our house. So it would have been just as easy to go and pick it up, but they are never open when I’m home, so they sent it UPS. They also sent me the tracking number so I got to watch where this thing went and I was amazed at how many miles this thing traveled to go the 6 miles to my house. I figured with the trip that it made it went about 150 miles just to get to my house. For those in Michigan, it went from Chesterfield to Roseville to Livonia to Madison Heights where it was put on the local truck to deliver it to my house. How is that efficient?
