I spent the better part of Sunday installing a new motherboard into Garrett’s computer and had every thing up and running great on it. Then I decided last night that I would bring all the firmware up to date. So I flashed the bios on the motherboard and it said it completed fine and would need to reboot. So I rebooted and the next thing I know it won’t. I have talked to technical support and I now have to send the bios chip back to them to reflash for me. The computer will be out of commission for 2 weeks till I can get it back. Garrett is so made at me I think it will take him that long to talk to me again, so maybe that’s not a bad thing. I told him that I don’t charge him for my support so he gets what he gets. Oh well, I won’t flash that again. Sometimes I know just enough to be really dangerous.
