I just wonder what the theft and loss rate is with these things. We has parents don’t want to have to go out and by junior another $100 item because he loses or it gets stolen. Does the school absorb the cost of the loss? I doubt it, we do. And I don’t even want to think about the $800 or more I would have to shell out for laptops, and that would be times 3.
I’m all for the technology, as long as I don’t have to pay for it, except at my home.
