Well, well. Today's CERT advisory was a breath of fresh air - the newest vulnerability was for all Windows version *except* XP. So many of the previous ones (including the recent month-old advisory being upgraded from serious to critical) were specifically *for* XP's latest "Security" Service Pack.
Heard that Apple announced the new mini-mac for a sub $500 pricetag. I am tempted to review that and the Wal-Mart sub-$500 linux laptop, and get rid of all my PCs.
Interesting note - our CIO (Fortune 100 company) recently dumped his home PCs after being frustrated and replaced them with 3 macs - one for his daughter, one for his wife, and one for himself. Wonder if there's change in the wind........
