I need a Bed!

Last night about 12:45 while I was trying to get the book onto CD, Nick cried for the 3rd time, but this time it was harder, I went up and talked to him and decided that I needed to get him some Benadryl for his nose and my sanity, so that I could finish and get some sleep. It wasn’t 30 minutes later when that wasn’t going to happen at all last night. He proceeded to throw up while laying on his back, he then turned onto his side and starting crying really loud and I knew that he had thrown up.

We got him out of bed and into the bathroom where he could let go more if there was any. Sandy almost lost it like she always does so that leaves me to deal with that, the clothes and of course the bed stuff. So at 1:30 I was rinsing everything off in the toilet and then taking it down to put it into the washer. Sandy and Nick went to take a shower and then they were going to sleep in our bed. I decided that they didn’t need me in there and besides, I thought that I could get more sleep downstairs on the couch. I was up and down the stairs 5 times in the next hour in a 1/2 as I helped her and Nick deal with Nick throwing up nothing. Finally she said I was good to go to sleep, but only because I had work today. 10 mins after that I was great by Sean who got woken up in all this and couldn’t fall back asleep in his dark room. So he climbed up on the couch and ruined any comfort that I was going to have. We fell asleep, not comfortably for me till about 5:30 when I gave up and went to sleep in a more uncomfortable chair, but I could spread myself out.

Got up at 7:00 got the two older boys up and got them breakfast, then got them dressed and Sandy did there hair and sent them off to school. I got in the shower and Nick had gone 40 mins at that point without throwing up and I have heard he is doing much better now, but we are all wiped out.

You're a good daddy, Tom. They'll remember this when they are all grown and have kids of their own.

UGH! I hope he is feeling better! Nights like that are ROUGH! Hopefully, ALL of you will get a break tonight and get some sleep!

Kate:

{{{hugs}}} Ugh - you poor man! I hope you all get some rest tonight!
