The Da Vinci Code

by Dan Brown
As I finished the book today, I found this post on the Yahoo Movies page: The Da Vinci Code - Movie Info - Yahoo! Movies. I'm excited about seeing the book on the screen. I can't wait to see if the vision I had of the book as I was reading will be the one that I see up there.

I loved this book. I got so into it that I couldn't wait to be riding in the car to listen to it. I brought it in the last two nights and went through 2 disks each night. There were so many twists and just when I thought I had it figured out, another twist would get thrown in there. It has made me want to take a trip to France even if its not true? I also don't know if this was thrown in for laughs or not, but there were two references to Harry Potter. One of the book and then one of Nicholas Flamel (he was a famous French Alchemist). Could be the one in the same that they were talking about. I didn't want to read this at first because I was worried that there would be too much religious stuff that would go over my head, but he did a great job of explaining a lot of it and I was surprised at how much I did know. If you haven't read this, its time, this is a great book.

I LOVE this book. I'm so glad that you took the chance on it and ended up liking it. I seriously could not put this book down. I was hoping that it would get made into a movie- I can't wait! :-)

Now, I am even more intrigued to read The Da Vinci Code. I picked the book up on a whim with a bunch of other books. I had heard so much about it I thought, Why not! My hubby read it and he enjoyed it! But, it's nice to get more then one opinion! It will have to be the next one I dive into when I am done with my current novel!
