No Its Not

One thing I can never understand is why the would put a prefix for a phone that is the same as an area code. My phone here starts with 248 as the prefix and that is also an area code here. So when people forget to put a 1 in from of the number they are dialing to a 248 area code and the rest of the number matches my number. You guessed it I get the phone calls and I have had some pretty good ones. Taxi company, Tow-truck service, Pizza requests, Doctor requests, Fax sent (that I can get in my VM) for doctor and mortgage stuff. I just now got a call for the Rainforest Cafe. Great place to eat and now that she called for it, I’m thinking maybe we need to go out there this weekend for some food and the Arcade next store. The boys would love it.

So I guess what I’m saying is that it sucks that I get these calls, but sometimes they are pretty funny and you can have fun with the people on the other line also. Like reverse cranking.

I think my husband actually put the nail shop out of business eventually. Our # was one different than theirs and he got so tired of the calls that he started taking appts...he did it for quite awhile and now they are kaput.
