There was a scene in Slap shot where they put a bounty out on another players head and every who has seen the movie has thought it was one of the funnier scenes in the movie. Well today it has happened in real life right here in Rivercity I tell you: Hockey coach suspended for offering bounty on rival player.
I don’t condone this at all, but I still thought it was pretty funny. The sad thing about this is that it would have never happened or been mentioned at all if the NHL had played their season. Another slap against a great sport.
