As I got a MT. Dew and some Hostess Ding Dongs out of the machine today, I started thinking about what I used to call these things when I was little. We all ways called them King Dongs and I remember that is what the box said, so why had the name change. I found this: Ding Dongs and King Dons today that helps to explain it to me and now onto to you if you care.

Weird.. I never knew there was a distinction between King Dons and Ding Dongs. I, like you, always called them King Dongs. Now that I think about it, that was a damned strange name..

I have never heard of Big Wheels or King Dons- I have always seen them as Ding Dongs. Very interesting- makes me wonder what else is out there with regional names.
