State of Fear

by Michael Crichton
What do you do when you have laid around all day feeling sick and not really wanting to watch anymore TV? You pick up a book, but make sure that its one that you can put down. I picked this one and it wasn't one I could put down and it was only because I knew I had to get up for work in 3 hours that I should stop and get some sleep. That was the case when I started reading this on Monday night. I got through about 257 pages, which is good for me. I got up went to work, came home dealt with family things and then read the rest of the book last night (300 more pages).

That is how great Michael Crichton's books are. If you have ever wondered about Global Warming and whether it really exists or not, give this a read and find out more. It was a great story line and it kept you moving. The one thing that disturbed me was that there is this lawyer (Peter Evans) that accepts what you telling and doesn't seem to die even though he has never had any military training.

I give this one 2 thumbs up, its really worth the read. It will certainly make you wonder about the Tsunami that happened at the end of last year.
