We played our first baseball game last night. The boys played well, but we ended up losing. The other team had good hitters and great fielding. I can see that I have a lot to learn about teaching kids how to play this game. Garrett struck out his first time up but then got a double to drive in a couple runs on his second time up. He did great picking up a grounder at 3rd and tagging the base runner out. Now we get to play Tuesday rain out game tonight, so hopefully they didn’t forget too much over night.
