The Cassandra Compact

by Robert Ludlum, Philip Shelby
Being that I like series books, and the Clive Cussler ones are done at least in the books I can get on tape. I switched to Robert Ludlum and his Covert One Character Jon Smith and in true Tommy fashion, I didn't start with the first one. This was the second one.

A Covert One agent has sent a call that he has information that he needs to get to the head of Covert one. So Jon is sent to retrieve the info from him, in the process the informer is killed and Jon barley escapes. What was going to be said is that last bit of Small Pox that was in the holding area in Russia was going to be stolen. Jon travels around the world to try and find who has taken it and where it has gone before it exposes the people of the world.

This was a pretty fast pace book that kept me wanting to hear more. If you like Spy novels, this book and character are for you.
