Little Bookie I know

Sorry I know I was a little bookie this morning. I just love to do it so much now.

We had an OK weekend. We went to see Charlie and the Chocolate Factory and Batman Begins at the Drive-In on Friday night. It was a really warm night, so it was nice to sit out there under the clouds and very few stars. I thought the movie was a well done remake, though I still like the oompa loompa songs from the first one better. But it was done in true Tim Burton fashion. The 2nd movie was OK, but I think I will need to see it again to catch all the things that I missed. A lot of people were leaving after the first movie so there was a lot of car noise and you couldn’t really hear what was going on. It was also 2 hours and 20 mins long and everyone fell asleep watching it except for me. Funny thing about that was that I was up at 4:45 that morning much earlier then anyone else and I was the only one awake at 3:00am when we got home from the movie and I put everyone to bed.

On Saturday FIL went back into ICU. He has a Fever of 105 and they can’t seem to get it to stay down, so he has been on an ice blanket all weekend long. Are hopes and prayers are still there that he will be able to come home and live a longer life but as the days pass it doesn’t look like he is ever going to get out of there. He has now been diagnosed with something called Factor 5, its a problem where you just start creating blood clots and that is what we are fighting now. They want to put him on blood thinners to combat it, but it also hinders his recovery and makes him weaker then he already is. Only time will tell.

Hope you all had a great weekend! :)

I'm sorry to read about your father in law. I hope he starts getting better.

Of course, other than that, your weekend sounded fun. We don't have any drive-ins here anymore. Well, there's one, but it's porn and outside the city limits. Kind of creepy.
