Night Prey

by John Sandford
Lucas Davenport is brought out of retirement and is made deputy chief. He is asked to help out on a case of a cat burglar that is killing people. One of the woman he robs from, he falls in love with and starts carving her initials into his victims.

I really loved the twists that he put in in this book and how you didn't know who the killer was and weather he was a cop or not.

Another great book from the Prey series, well worth the read.
