Tommys Thoughts

Lucas sets up a sting for robbery on a couple of female crooks that have been hitting banks all over the mid-west. As the heist finishes all hell breaks loose and the girls come out shooting and the police kill both of them. At the funereal home a couple days later the husband of one of the girls and brother of the other escapes his prison guards and is going after the people that killed his wife and sister.

This was a different type of book for Lucas. Up to this point most the books have all been about patterns and killing, but this one was about going after the police and their families and you never knew when it was going to happen and there was no pattern to the murders except now you knew who they were going after, you just didn't know when they were going to do it.

I read this one pretty quick, one because it was good and two I knew that my copy of Harry Potter was coming and I knew I wouldn't finish this book if that got here first. I just hope the book comes today. Not to detract from this book. I have loved all of Sandford's books and I'm sure as soon as I'm done with HP that I will be right back for the next one, Secret Prey.
