The Altman Code

by Robert Ludlum, Gayle Lynds
Jon Smith is in China when he gets a call to go out and make a pickup from Covert One operative to be returned to the US. It sounds easy, but his contact is killed and the piece of paper that he had was a manifest for a cargo ship going to Iraq. Jon now must race against time to get the manifest back without getting killed himself and get it to the proper people before the cargo ship gets to its destination.

This is the 2nd Covert One book that I read and I enjoyed it almost as much as the first one. This one had a different author helping out Ludlum and you could tell that the characters acted differently to each other then they did 2 books before. This shouldn't detract for the over all story though. It was a great book to read and I enjoyed it very much. Well worth the time.
