When the Bough Breaks

by Jonathan Kellerman
This was my first Alex Delaware book, but I can see that it will be one of many to come. It took me a little bit to get used it but once I did what a great story.

A kid is witness to a murder, but doesn't really remember it. Milo the detective calls in a friend, a child psychologist by the name of Alex. He talks to the girl for a bit and thinks if he can hypnotize her that he could get more info out. He feels for the girl and the story just goes from there. There are lots of twists and it all comes together in the end.

This was a very good book and I think I have found another author, Jonathan Kellerman, I can read as I come to end of my Sandford Novels.

I love the Sandford books too and have read all of them as well as all of the Jonathan Kellerman books. Kellerman's wife, Faye, is also a writer (with a Phd in math). Her books are very good too and I have read all of them... something to look forward to when you've finished all of the Alex Delaware books. Also, if you haven't read Patterson's Alex Cross books, you'd enjoy those if you like the Sandford novels. Happy summer reading!
