Which Logo Is Your Logo

Invigorated NHL Shield — The League’s updated mark uses upward-reading letters to project a vibrant, optimistic image, yet defers to tradition by maintaining the time-honored shape of the original shield. The updated logo’s dominant color is silver, in homage to the most cherished trophy in sports, the sterling silver Stanley Cup. - The league thinks that by changing the logo that has stood for the league for more then 100 years its going to make things better.

This is the logo that belongs to the hockey league that I have grown up with and loved. It is time that the head of the NHL and NHLPA take their leave and get someone in there that understands hockey and will take this game into the future. It may not be as popular as Football or Basketball here in the US, but there are many of us who had a horrible winter without it.

Now lets get back to the ice and have some fun, though most of my wings will be with other teams or not playing at all because of the salary cap. It will be interested to root for new guys that we haven’t seen before.

Well, I like the old one better. The new one reminds me of the Raiders.

No doubt the old logo was better. I hope Al Davis sues them.
