Its the start of fall around here, after a pretty nice weekend, its kind of cold and rainy here today and very blah. We had a pretty decent weekend. Friday night we PPV Because of Winn Dixie for the boys, Garrett had read the book in school last year, so he was excited about seeing it. It was a feel good movie and it was nice to see something without swearing and sex in it.
Saturday mornings, Sandy’s father used to come over and bring us and mostly the boys donuts and bagels and when we got up Sandy said it would be nice if we had some bagels. So off I went, I told her that I needed to pick up a book from the library and I did that and got the bagels and then stopped by the cemetery and said hi to day. His grass is almost grown in now. No headstone yet, but its on its way. After that I laid around all day and watched the Football, MSU kicked as and Michigan lost as I expected. If Tennessee can win tonight I will have picked perfect on my ESPN card. For dinner we decided to do pie makers (campers should know what this is), so I went out and made a bon fire in the backyard and we ate and drank and sat by the fire all night. It was a pretty good evening and the weather was great for it, not too hot and not too cold, it was just right.
Sunday we got up and went to church, thanked god that the Lions weren’t going to lose this week (they didn’t play). Came home and worked on bills and watched more Football until the Red Wings game came on at 5. After putting the boys to bed, we settled in for the evening of wives and anatomy on ABC and then it was off to bed to get some sleep before the weeks grind.
Rita did hit us a bit yesterday, but we didn’t get anywhere near as much as rain as they got down there, but we had a pretty good down pour for a while.

Our weekend the temps were in the high 90's! Today was 89. I don't think Fall will ever get to Oklahoma.
